SAMSIG is hosting the ” Meet the Experts in Africa” meeting as part of the SAMSIG 2010 annual meeting. The conference will be at Chobe in Botswana. The 3 day conference will take place from 4-8 October 2010.The format will be high level MSK with case presentations by all delegates. All cases will be interactive. Confirmed delegates to date are Rusty Fritz (USA) and Phil Lucas ( Australia). Many other MSK subspecialists have expressed interest. Space is limited to 60 delegates, so book early.

George is a musculoskeletal and MRI radiologist and therefore his main interests include the diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic and rheumatologic disorders as well as sporting and work injuries. In particular, muscle injuries, such as hamstring, calf and groin strains are areas of sub-specialisation, as well as tendon injuries, back, neck and sciatic pain. Other areas of interest include neurological, neurosurgical and urological radiology.

He received the Institute’s award for outstanding services to sports radiology in 2000 and 2006. He was also radiologist at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. He is a member of the International Skeletal Society and a past President of the Australian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group.Dr Galloway has authored over 60 original papers and has delivered over 100 presentations and national and international meetings and is in constant demand as a speaker and teacher. His current research interests musculoskeletal imaging and patient safety in radiology.
